Their primary function is to stimulate collaboration with national and international organisations to support worldwide efforts to address the enormous scientific and societal challenges we face today.

Making a global impact
Our Engagement team plays a unique role in influencing, promoting and connecting the UK’s ocean science space.
As our focal point for engagement with the British government, they represent NOC Innovations, the National Oceanography Centre, NERC-UKRI and the UK at international forums.
They also provide secretariat support for the UK Marine Science Coordination Committee (MSCC) and the NOC Association of Marine Science National Capability Beneficiaries (NOC A).
